Company profile

GEO – TECHNIC – Consulting Co. Ltd. was established in 1996 in order to bring together the experiences and knowledge of Canadian investors and Slovak geological experts specialized in the precious-metal exploration. The aim of the Company was to develop the international activities in the field of geological engineering and more specifically in the drilling business performed in the Licence Areas in Slovakia. Utilizing advanced technology, drilling equipments and accessories imported from Canada, Sweden, Germany and Italy, qualified manpower together with experiences and reliability in conjunction with collaboration of foreign partners we are achieving high quality performance.

During the years 1996 – 1998 the activities of the Company were concentrated to the exploration core drilling for precious metals (Au – Ag – W – Sb) by “wire-line” technology, vertical and incline boreholes up to 450,0 m depth, totally 10 700 m of core boreholes. Since 1999 the Company has extended the scope of its activities by geotechnical works i.e. micropilots, anchors, nails, horizontal drainage and boreholes for various underground cable lying. In the year 2000 the Company has continued with “wire-line” drilling and geotechnical works. We performed few complex exploration geological projects – projection, performance, evaluation and Final report. Main program was the participation of the Company on the International Geophysical Experiment called “CELEBRATION – 2000”. In the year 2001 the Company has consequently extended the activities in other segment i.e. engineering geological and hydrogeological exploration works, including  drilling works. In the year 2002 turnover of the Company was 40 % higher comparing with previous year. In the year 2003 the Company in cooperation with German partner Co. HAS – H.Anger's Söhne GmbH worked on the high capacity water production wells for Coca-Cola Beverages Ltd. Slovakia (introduction column Ø 720,0 mm; depth 380,0 m; yield 25,0 l/sec.). In this period we also performed core drilling program (2 640,0 m) on geological project “Tibeč mountain – Au mineralization” financed by Ministry of Environment of Slovak Republic and geotechnical works on Apollo Bridge Bratislava. In the year 2004 we performed 3 860 m of diamond core drilling for Tournigan Gold Corporation Vancouver. These works are continuing with some breaks up to now. Since December 2003 till September 2005 Company has performed seismic monitoring of blasting works on Highway tunnel SITINY Bratislava for TAISEI Corp. Tokyo. In this year we have reached certificate of quality STN EN 9001 :  2001 / EN ISO 9001 : 2000. During the year 2005 we have performed 18 600 m of drilling works in stone quarries with cooperation of LUVEMA Ltd. Co. using of 95 tons of blasting material we have prepared 580 000 tons of building material for highway construction. On other localities e.g. Highway tunnel Hubová – Ivachnová, was performed 960 m of diamond core drilling. In September 2005 Company has begun drilling works on Jahodná locality – uranium deposit exploration (4 boreholes up to 500 m) for Tournigan Gold Corporation Vancouver.

The Company has an intention to extend its activities even further to include drilling operations for the hydrogeological and geothermal water wells with the advanced technology to meet the requirement for water supply, bore holes for heating pumps and geoecological activities. Company bought new versatile drilling rig with complete drilling tools – capacity up to 800 m.
